MonoHome Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-06 · App: MonoHome Android Launcher

Data Collected

MonoHome collects usage statistics locally on your device — recent app launches and focus session analytics — to personalize home screen behavior (recent apps list, Night Focus scheduling). This data never leaves your phone.

Storage

All data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and UsageStatsManager APIs. MonoHome has no internet permission and makes no network requests of any kind. Your data cannot be transmitted, collected, or accessed remotely.

Permissions

Usage access (UsageStatsManager): Used to show your recently-used apps on the home screen. Required only if you enable the recent apps feature in Settings.

Accessibility service: Monitors window state changes only to power the double-tap-to-lock gesture and Night Focus warnings when you attempt to open a blocked app. The service does not read screen content, record input, or transmit any data.

Notification listener: Used exclusively to silence notifications during Night Focus sessions. MonoHome does not read notification content beyond what is needed to suppress display.

Data Sharing

We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit your data. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks in MonoHome.
